Naveen is scheduled to hold one-to-one meeting with industry captains on Wednesday to invite them to participate in the Make in Odisha conclave scheduled from November 11 to 15.
Though the state’s industries department has not revealed names of the business tycoons, who would hold meeting with the chief minister, a top government source said chairman-cum-managing director of Reliance Industries Limited Mukesh Ambani and executive chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra are likely to attend.
The chief minister would also attend an investment roadshow, which will be jointly organized by the industries department and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the industry partner of the state government.
“Look forward to meeting industry captains & investors at #MakeInOdisha roadshow in Mumbai, a precursor to upcoming #MIO2018 Conclave in Bhubaneswar. For an investor today seeking ease of doing business, swift facilitation & business-friendly environment, Odisha is the place to be,” Naveen tweeted ahead of the roadshow.
Over 300 leading Companies have confirmed their participation in the roadshow to explore growth opportunities in Odisha. Industries minister Ananta Das, chief secretary A P Padhi and senior state government officials would attend the roadshow.
The delegation, during the roadshow, will highlight advantages of investing in Odisha.
At a news conference here, BJP leader Lekhashri Samantsinghar said the roadshows are symbolic and a desperate attempt to set right the anti-development and anti-industry face of the BJD government.
Brushing aside the allegations, BJD spokesperson Sasmit Patra said the BJP is intolerant as the state government has made progress on several fronts.
