Samsung announced the all new Galaxy Note 9 at an event in New York yesterday. The new Note 9 is a beast of a device, and if you are tempted to get one, you can now pre-order it. Samsung has started the pre-orders for the smartphone today, via several online retailers and Samsung’s own online site.

Several pre-order offers have also been announced, including easy no-cost EMI using Credit Cards or Bajaj Finserv cards, cashback offers, and free gifts. And now, Airtel has an offer of its own, which is kind of a nice deal.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Airtel Offer

If you are an Airtel customer or are about to be one after checking out this offer, then you are in for some good news. The network operator is selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for just Rs. 7900.

Airtel Online Store Sells Samsung Galaxy Note 9 For Rs.7,900 Down Payment With 100GB 4G Data Per Month samsung note 9 airtel offer

That’s right, you can pre-order and own the Galaxy Note 9 by paying a one-time down-payment of Rs.7900. You will then have to sign up for a 24-month contract with Airtel, and pay Rs. 2999 monthly. By the end of the 24 months, you will end up paying Rs. 71,976, plus the Rs. 7900 down-payment. That’s a total of around Rs. 80000. So how is this an offer you ask?

Well, there are a lot of benefits to paying Rs. 2999. This amount not only covers the monthly EMI charges of the phone, but you also get 100GB of data per month, Unlimited calling, Handset Damage Protection, and one-year subscription to Amazon Prime. Now, if you total the cost for all that, you are actually buying the phone for the same retail price. Except, you are paying monthly, and there is no extra interest. You get your phone, and Airtel gets its customers.

Shipping of the phone will start on August 22nd, and by pre-booking, you are also eligible to purchase the Samsung Gear Watch at a discounted price of Rs. 4999. This is probably Samsung’s way to clear the Gear stock before the Galaxy Watch is released.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Specifications, Features

You probably know all the specifications by now, but if you don’t, here’s a breakdown.

The Galaxy Note 9 comes with a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display with a QHD+ resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and this is also Samsung’s biggest screen ever. The phone is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 processor, which is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM, and a massive 512GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot is also available that accepts another 1TB of storage. Thankfully, a headphone jack is also present on the phone.

The Note 9 gets the same cameras that are found on the Galaxy S9+, the dual 12MP sensors, one with dual-aperture, and the other a telephoto lens. Both of the lenses have optical image stabilization, and other cool features. A front camera is an 8MP unit. At the back, you get a fingerprint sensor, which is placed below the camera unit. A heart-rate scanner is also present at the back.

A 4000mAh battery is included to keep the device running through the day, and it supports fast charging in both wired and wireless mode. You also get stereo speakers that are tuned by AKG and also support Dolby Atmos.

And finally, since this is a Note device, you get the S-Pen. The new S-Pen is improved, and it now has Bluetooth connectivity. A button on the device can be mapped to perform various functions, such as launch the camera and take a photo, and more. So, there you have it, the most powerful Samsung device so far. It does have the same design from last year, but it is much better.

Will you be getting one?
