Samsung launched its flagship phone, Galaxy Note 9, at its Unpacked event in New York. The phone was launched on August 9. The phone will be available for purchase starting August 24 and its India price starts at Rs 67,900 for the 6GB model. However, Airtel is giving a chance to buy the new Galaxy Note 9 at a down payment of Rs 7,900.
Airtel on Friday announced that Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (128 GB) is available on its online store at a down payment of just Rs 7,900. The Telecom company has basically broke down the price of Galaxy Note 9 into 24EMIs of Rs 2999 each. The EMIs will also come built-in with a post-paid plan.
The built in plan will includes 100 GB high speed data per month, unlimited calling and bundled content like 1 year Amazon Prime membership and free subscription to Airtel TV and Wynk Music.
Intending buyers can pre-book the smartphone on the Airtel Online Store starting August 11, 2018 and Airtel will begin the delivery of the device starting August 22, 2018. To pre-book the Galaxy Note 9, log on to Airtel online store> select the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from the device list> check your eligibility and get instant loan approvals> make the down payment.
The company will deliver the new Galaxy Note 9 at your doorstep at your preferred address. On activation, the bundled Airtel postpaid plan will automatically apply.
“We are pleased to add Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to the range of offerings on our online store as part of our endeavour to enable customers to conveniently upgrade to high end smartphones. With our built-in plans, customers can truly unlock the Galaxy Note 9 experience on India’s fastest mobile network,” told Airtel CMO Vani Venkatesh in a press statement.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 specs
The Galaxy Note 9 Sports a 6.4-inch screen with QHD+ resolution that is 2960×1440 pixels. Like all the other Samsung phones, the Galaxy Note 9 also uses two processors, depending on the region where it is sold. In the US and many European countries, Samsung will sell the Galaxy Note 9 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. But in India and South Korea, along with a few other Asian and European countries, the Note 9 will be powered by company’s own Exynos 9810 processor.
There are two variants of Galaxy Note 9- one comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage while the other comes with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone uses a combination of 12MP+ 12MP dual camera set up at the back and an 8MP front camera for selfies. It runs Android 8 Oreo and is backed by a 4000 mAh with fast charging.
