At least 20 passengers of a train suffered accidents Friday when their decoupled coaches obtained jerks during attachment with the engine in Rajasthan’s Bikaner railway division, a railway official mentioned. The engine of the Hanumangarh-Sriganganagar passenger train obtained indifferent someday after leaving the Hanumangarh station.
The train left after the engine was connected however after a while, the engine once more obtained indifferent close to the Jodkiya railway station. “When the engine was being attached for the second time, the coaches received jerks and passengers suffered injuries in the process,” Hanumangarh station superintendent Madan Singh mentioned. A spokesperson for the North Western railway mentioned a probe has been ordered within the incident.
He mentioned 20 passengers suffered accidents, of which 17 have been discharged after main remedy and the remaining three have been admitted to a hospital in Hanumangarh.
