ITI bags Rs 334-cr order from R’sthan govt for wi-fi project


Pubic sector agency ITI Friday stated it has bagged a Rs 334-crore order from the Rajasthan authorities for rolling out wi-fi project within the state. “ITI Limited, a public sector undertaking in the Telecommunications Technology segment, has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from RajCOMP Info Services Ltd, a government of Rajasthan undertaking, to execute the RajNet project,” ITI stated.

Under the project, the Telecom gear making agency is anticipated to ascertain 40,000 outside wi-fi entry factors in Rajasthan with the project having an order worth of roughly Rs 334 crore, it added.

ITI will provide, set up and preserve outside wi-fi entry factors together with related radio frequency radio gear in six months adopted by operation and upkeep of the community for 5 years.
