Telecom operators asked to improve network connectivity in J&K’s Poonch


Stating that poor cell phone protection impeded aid and rescue operations throughout latest ceasefire violations, authorities of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir directed Telecom service suppliers to improve their network connectivity in the area.

“The irregular network coupled with poor voice quality and coverage impedes relief and rescue operations, thereby hampering administrative reach during ceasefire violations along the Line of Control,” deputy commissioner, Poonch, Rahul Yadav mentioned.

Speaking at a gathering held with representatives of assorted Telecommunication firms, Yadav asked the Telecom service suppliers to instantly restore and improve the cell phone network in the district to keep away from inconveniencing the native subscribers.
