FMCG shares: Share market update: Nifty FMCG index trades flat; Tata Global Beverages dips 1%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty FMCG index was buying and selling 0.09 per cent down at 28,733.35 round 12:58 pm on Friday with most of its parts buying and selling within the purple.

Shares of Tata Global Beverages (down 1.28 per cent), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare (down 1.06 per cent), Emami (down 1.01 per cent) and ITC (down 0.96 per cent) have been the highest losers within the index.

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (down 0.69 per cent), Godrej Consumer Products (down 0.67 per cent) and United Spirits (down 0.58 per cent) too have been buying and selling within the purple.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 11.20 factors at 10,587.2 whereas BSE Sensex was down 61.91 factors at 35,175.77 at the moment.

Among the 50 shares within the Nifty index, 29 have been buying and selling within the inexperienced, whereas 21 have been within the purple.

Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, ITC, Idea cellular, HPCL, NHPC, Infosys, RIL, Hindalco Inds. and Bharti Airtel have been among the many most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
