Pharma shares: Share market update: Pharma shares trade higher; Sun Pharma rises 3%

NEW DELHI: Pharma shares have been buying and selling within the inexperienced with the Nifty Pharma index up 1.35 per cent at 9,639.6 round 11:59 am on Friday.

Shares of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 3.11 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories (up 2.84 per cent), Piramal Enterprises (up 2.79 per cent) and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 1.72 per cent) have been the highest performers within the index.

Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.59 per cent), Cadila Healthcare (up 0.73 per cent) and Lupin (up 0.29 per cent) too have been buying and selling with respectable features.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 16.80 factors at 10,615.2 whereas BSE Sensex was up 35.63 factors at 35273.31 at the moment.

Among the 50 shares within the Nifty index, 33 have been buying and selling within the inexperienced, whereas 17 have been within the crimson.

Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, Ashok Leyland, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, Idea cellular, HPCL and Hindalco Inds. have been among the many most traded shares on the National Stock Exchange.
