PSU Bank shares bullish; OBC surges 7%

NEW DELHI: PSU Bank shares have been buying and selling within the inexperienced with the Nifty PSU Bank index up 0.35 per cent at 2,956.45 in Friday’s buying and selling session.

Shares of Oriental Bank of Commerce (up 7.42 per cent), Bank of India (up 6.37 per cent), Union Bank of India (up 3.28 per cent) and Canara Bank (up 2.70 per cent) have been among the many high performers within the index.

Syndicate Bank (up 2.58 per cent), Bank of Baroda (up 1.76 per cent), IDBI Bank Ltd. (up 1.68 per cent) and Punjab National Bank (up 1.20 per cent) too have been buying and selling within the inexperienced.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 15.45 factors at 10,613.85 whereas BSE Sensex was up 33.52 factors at 35,271.2 at the moment.

Among the 50 shares within the Nifty index, 30 have been buying and selling within the inexperienced, whereas 20 have been within the pink.

Shares of YES Bank, Tata Motors, SBI, Ashok Leyland, Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Idea cellular, HPCL, Bharti Airtel, ITC and RIL have been among the many most traded shares on the NSE.
