After Merger With Vodafone Group, Idea Cellular Becomes ‘Vodafone Idea Limited’

NEW DELHI: Most Telecom shares have been buying and selling within the detrimental zone in Monday’s session.

Shares of Vodafone Idea (down 3.53 per cent), ITI (down 1.65 per cent), Sterlite Technologies (down 1.60 per cent) and Reliance Communications (down 1.58 per cent) have been buying and selling with losses.

GTL Infrastructure (down 0.99 per cent), Tejas Networks (down 0.96 per cent) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (down 0.90 per cent) too have been buying and selling decrease.

The S&P BSE Telecom index was buying and selling 1.04 per cent up at 1035.93 round 02:43 pm on Monday.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 94.40 factors at 10,621.15 whereas BSE Sensex was up 352.26 factors at 35,333.28 at the moment.

Among the 50 shares within the Nifty index, 33 have been buying and selling within the inexperienced, whereas 17 have been within the purple.

Shares of South Indian Bank, JP Associates, Idea cellular, YES Bank, Adani Power, Reliance Communications, Suzlon Energy, Kwality, Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, JSPL, Dewan Housing, Jet Airways, Ashok Leyland, Vedanta and Dish TV India have been among the many most traded shares on the NSE.
