NEW DELHI: Most FMCG shares had been buying and selling within the unfavourable zone in Tuesday’s session.

Shares of Hindustan Unilever (down 1.38 per cent), Tata Global Beverages (down 1.24 per cent), Dabur India (down 1.07 per cent) and Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare (down 0.87 per cent), had been the highest losers within the index.

Emami (down 0.51 per cent), ITC (down 0.46 per cent) and Godrej Consumer Products (down 0.35 per cent) too had been the worst performers.

The Nifty FMCG index was buying and selling 0.48 per cent down at 29,791.35 round 12:18 pm.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 13.75 factors at 10,614.85 whereas BSE Sensex was down 45.26 factors at 35,308.82 at the moment.

Among the 50 shares within the Nifty index, 23 had been buying and selling within the inexperienced, whereas 27 had been within the purple.
